ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

Accounts Assistant

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the responsibilities under this role with Marbury will be:

  • handling accounting work for the company, mainly focusing on expenses, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • ensuring prompt and accurate billing and maintaining the master annual billing schedule
  • ensuring all invoices and payments are accounted for, billed accordingly, and processed in a timely and accurate manner
  • liaising with fee earners and clients for billing queries
  • client bookkeeping using Xero cloud accounting software, liaising with clients
  • managing audits on behalf of clients and liaising with the IRD as appropriate
  • client payroll and MPF
  • liaising with vendors about payment and invoice queries
  • banking cheques
  • any other duties that may be deemed appropriate for this role

Skills and attributes

  • LCC higher level qualification/ Diploma in Finance/Accounting or related disciplines
  • 2 years relevant working experience
  • proficient in Microsoft Office essential
  • knowledge of financial system software (MYOB, Xero) would be an advantage
  • detail oriented with good organisational skills and data management skills
  • ability to work well in a team-environment as well as independently
  • good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • fund administration experience a plus

CORPORATE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT2

Corporate Administrative Assistant

This company secretarial role includes:

  • formation, management and administration of Hong Kong, Cayman Island and British Virgin Islands companies, limited partnerships etc, and other jurisdictions
  • organising the maintenance of documentation and filing requirements for such companies in accordance with the laws of the respective countries
  • filing and administration, including data entry and maintenance in the entity management software
  • client liaison
  • collection, monitoring and review of client due diligence (CDD) documents in line with the company’s compliance policy and procedures
  • assistance with invoicing and timekeeping
  • carrying out the instructions of management

Skills and attributes

  • At least 3 years relevant experience in a professional firm
  • Fluent English and Chinese
  • Passion for Marbury’s mission

BOOKKEEPER

Bookkeeper

Reporting to the Finance Manager and working with the Accounts Assistant, the responsibilities under this role with Marbury will be:

  • handling accounting work for the company, mainly focusing on expenses and accounts payable
  • ensuring all invoices and payments are accounted for, billed accordingly, and processed in a timely and accurate manner
  • liaising with vendors about payment and invoice queries
  • managing petty cash
  • banking cheques
  • any other duties that may be deemed appropriate for this role
