Marbury Business Continuity Statement

COVID-19

Most importantly, we hope that you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy during this challenging time and thank you for your continued support.

We are pleased to confirm that Marbury’s operations in all of our locations globally remain intact.

As of today, no Marbury employees have tested positive for COVID-19 or are in compulsory quarantine.

Business Continuity Plan (BCP)

Marbury’s BCP has been active since the Hong Kong protests last year, and is designed to be sufficiently flexible to accommodate a range of situations that are sudden, unforeseen or occur with varying levels of warnings from relevant authorities. In particular:

·        Employees working from home are contactable via phone and email at all times
·        All meetings can take place via teleconference or video conference
·        Operational processes remain unchanged across all functions and client services

Impacted Services (Registry, Licensing, Banking and Regulatory Bodies)

Companies Registries, regulators and tax authorities, as well as banks, in all of the jusrisdictions in which we operate have been been impacted through closures and reduced staffing.  Although our business is capable through our BCP of operating normally, where Marbury requires interaction with these external authorities or providers we are experiencing varying levels of responsiveness, and delays are unfortunately to be expected.

Information Technology (IT)

Marbury IT systems and database continue to operate in the most secure manner possible.  Any employees working from home have access to the internal system through secure dual authorisation process and with a full audit trail being generated and maintained. External emails are automatically scanned for malicious access attempts.

This global pandemic is unlike anything we have experienced before. We will continue to monitor this evolving situation daily and are committed to communicating with our clients, business vendors, and employees about any changes.
